FAQs

Everything you need to know before booking your appointment.

What identification is accepted in Texas?

Texas law requires that each signer present a current, government-issued photo ID that includes both a signature and a photograph.
Acceptable forms include:

Texas or U.S. Driver’s License

State-issued Identification Card

U.S. Passport or Passport Card

U.S. Military ID

Permanent Resident Card (“Green Card”)

IDs must be unexpired and legible. Photocopies or digital versions are not accepted.

Do I sign my documents before the appointment?

No. All documents must remain unsigned until you are in the notary’s presence.
Signing ahead of time invalidates the notarization and will require a new document.

Can you come to my home, office, or job site?

Absolutely. Bryant Notary Co. is a mobile notary service, available throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
We meet clients wherever is most convenient — including homes, offices, coffee shops, hospitals, or detention centers.

Do you offer evening, weekend, or last-minute appointments?

Yes! We proudly provide:

After-Hours Appointments:

Monday–Saturday

Sunday Appointments:

Appointments by direct email/text request only

Holiday or Rush Service:

What types of documents can you notarize?

We notarize most personal and business documents including:

Property Deeds, Title Transfers, and Loan Documents

School or Medical Forms

Business Contracts and Affidavits

Employment or HR Forms

Vehicle Release, Bill of Sale, and Insurance Claims

Certain immigration or court documents may require additional verification — contact us first if unsure.

What can’t a notary in Texas do?

By Texas law, notaries cannot:

Provide legal advice or draft legal documents

Certify copies of birth, death, or marriage certificates (must request official copies from Vital Records)

Notarize documents in which they have a personal or financial interest

Bryant Notary Co. always operates with full compliance and integrity.
